Who is Michael Hutchison?
Michael wrote the Book of Floating.
This book possibly has done more to promote floating than any other single event.
His Situation
Almost ten years ago, Michael had a very serious accident and became a quadriplegic.
His income remains below the poverty level, and his full medical and personal needs are not being met.

If you are a float center owner and would like to show your gratitude for all the business Michael has brought you, we ask that you make a one-time donation equal to the retail price of a single float session at your center.
How The Contribution Is Used
Donations will be deposited in a trust fund, The Michael Hutchison Irrevocable Special Needs Trust. The trust is not a 501 C so there are no tax deductions for these gifts. Michael receives Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, but has living expenses that far exceed his benefits through these programs. Some of his most pressing needs are his computer related expenses such as computer repair, monthly internet connection, and computer programs. Computer support is essential since he is a writer, but can’t type or write. He uses a voice recognition program to be able to work and try to support himself.
